OverviewWe are seeking an established, motivated and results-driven Radio Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding new business, driving sales growth through effective account management, business development, and relationship building. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B sales processes and the ability to engage with clients across various industries. As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets individually and for the team. This is a commission only position with high payouts per contract.
Duties
Execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.You'll be responsible for selling advertising packages, which include airtime on radio stations, as well as digital products and services.Identify and target potential clients through lead generation and cold calling.You will work to attract new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones, often by developing custom proposals and contracts.Manage existing accounts while seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.Create, edit, and copy proposals & schedules from 1 to 52 weeks in length, customize schedules, track sales activities, manage customer relationships, adhere to performance metrics.Collaborate with sales/marketing team to align strategies and enhance brand visibility.Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.Provide exceptional customer service to maintain long-term relationships with clients.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements relevant to our products.
Skills
Proven experience in radio & outside sales, preferably in B2B environments.Strong account management skills with a focus on customer retention.Familiarity with technology sales and technical sales processes is advantageous.Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.Strong analytical skills for assessing market trends and sales performance.Ability to conduct engaging demos that highlight key features and benefits.Experience in lead generation techniques, including cold calling strategies.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer service.A background in radio sales, grants, marketing and sponsorships is a plus.
